Idle Cartel, from Tap Nine, is a game about building a criminal production operation from a small field into a network of cartel territories. You control the boss character directly with a joystick, walking the map to collect cash, switch on upgrades and oversee each part of the operation yourself. It suits players who like production chains, upgrade loops and watching a small setup grow into something much larger.
Movement is the main way you interact with the game, since you walk to each business to gather its cash and activate its upgrades. New areas unlock as the empire expands, so the map you cover gets bigger over time.
You create production fields and expand them, then build processing labs and refineries to handle what the fields produce. Airfields, warehouses and new territories are unlocked as you progress, and each operation can be upgraded to raise its output and profit.
Goods move from the fields to the processing labs, then pass through several refining stages before they are ready to ship. You load export trucks and keep shipments moving, and you can add transport capacity when the flow starts to back up. The listing describes this as a way to prevent bottlenecks in the chain.
Airfields serve larger export routes, and trucks, facilities and production buildings can all be upgraded for more speed, capacity and income across the network. Production can be automated, and the profits you collect are reinvested into faster production, so the operation's output compounds as it grows.
