A charging app for electric cars travelling in Greece
If you drive an electric car in Greece, the practical question on a longer trip is where the next charger is. incharge.evc, from the developer CORAL A.E, is built for that situation. Its listing describes it as a tool for drivers who travel across the country.
The developer says the network behind the app has the fastest fast chargers in Greece. That is the developer's own claim. The app's core use is simple: find a public station, go to it, follow the charge, and pay for it in the app.
The app is rated PEGI 3 and has more than 50,000 installs on Google Play.
Finding and filtering public chargers on the map
The map shows public charging stations, and you can pick one and navigate to it from there. The listing says the map covers all the available public stations the app can find.
Filters let you narrow that list by type of charger and by charger features. This is the part to use when a station has to suit a particular connector or set of features, rather than scrolling through every station nearby.
Filters apply to the stations shown on the map, so you can change the criteria without leaving the map view.
Following a charge and paying through the app
During a charge, the app sends notifications that report progress. The listing says you follow the process in real time through these updates.
Payment for the charge is completed inside the app. The listing names e-wallet, credit card and debit card as the methods you can use.
Because the payment step sits in the app, the charge and its cost are handled in the same place as the map and the progress updates.
Charging history and customer support
The app keeps a record of your previous charges, which you can view. This is the place to check earlier sessions.
Support is provided by nrg's specialised customer service team, available 24/7 on 218 88 18102. The number is listed on the app's Google Play page as the contact for help.
The history and support sit alongside the map and payment features, so a session can be reviewed or queried from the same app that started it.
