What Indeed Flex is for

Indeed Flex is a job app for finding temporary and flexible shifts close to where you live. It is aimed at people who want to choose their own hours in short-term work rather than hold a fixed schedule. The listing names three areas: warehouse and logistics, hospitality and events, and facilities and cleaning.

The app is offered in English and Spanish. The developer says it lets you pick when you work and see what a shift pays before you commit to it.

Browsing shifts by role and location

Under warehouse and logistics, the listed roles are picker or packer, general labor and material handler. Hospitality and events covers bartender, server, event staff and food service. Facilities and cleaning covers cleaner, housekeeping and janitorial work.

The developer says new shifts are posted every day, so the list changes from one day to the next. You browse the shifts near you and choose the ones that match the hours you have free.

Creating a profile and getting verified for roles
