Jetpack Joyride is a free endless runner from Halfbrick Studios, the developer behind Fruit Ninja. The character is Barry Steakfries, who runs through a laboratory while scientists try to stop him.
The game suits people who want an endless runner with a lot of gear to unlock, from jetpacks and vehicles to costumes. Its controls are built around a single touch, so the same input covers everything you do in a run.
The main way Barry moves is by jetpack, and the listing describes several jetpacks to equip. Other ways of getting around the lab include a wave-rider that Barry can surf and giant mechs and other vehicles that he can storm the lab in.
Each one changes how a run plays, since a vehicle or board takes over from the standard jetpack. Switching between them is part of the core loop rather than a separate mode.
