What Launcher OS 27 changes on an Android home screen
Launcher OS 27 is a home screen replacement for Android built around a Liquid Glass look. It applies that styling to the home screen, App Library, folders, widgets and search.
It suits people who mainly want the home screen restyled, along with icon and widget options to match the new look.
Liquid Glass panels and how they are tuned
Translucent glass covers the dock, folders, widgets and search. Blur and Refraction can be adjusted to set how strong the glass appears.
The glass takes its colors from your wallpaper, so the tint follows the picture behind it.
Icon styles, colors and sizes
Icons come in Default, Dark, Clear, Bubble and Tinted styles. Tinted lets you pick one color for every icon. Dark can stay on at all times or follow the system setting in Auto mode.
You can also change the icon size and personalise individual app icons and names.
Home screen widgets
Six widgets are included: Clock, Calendar, Weather, Battery, Suggestions and Gallery. You place them on the home screen in the layout you choose.
The widgets use the same glass styling as the rest of the launcher.
What's new
- New Liquid Glass background for Search
- Smoother pull-down Search
- Clear button in App Library search, and apps now drop into a free Dock spot
