Phone: Dialer & iCall Screen

What Phone: Dialer & iCall Screen replaces

Phone: Dialer & iCall Screen is a replacement dialer and call screen for Android. To make and receive calls through it, you set it as your default phone app.

It suits people who want their keypad, contacts and in-call screens to look and behave differently from the stock calling app on their phone.

Finding contacts and reviewing call history

The keypad uses T9 search, so you can type a few digits or letters to narrow down your contacts. Contacts, favourites and recent calls are all reachable from the main screen.

The call log separates missed, incoming and outgoing calls. Calls open into a full-screen view.

Restyling calls, contacts and the phone itself

You can set a custom background for calls and assign a contact poster to individual people, so a call from a specific person appears with their chosen design. The app icon, theme and font size can also be changed.

Incoming calls can be shown in several different styles, and you can choose whether to answer with a slide gesture.

In-call controls, headsets and dual SIM

During a call the listing offers mute, speaker, keypad, hold, add call, merge, swap and conference options. These depend on what your device and carrier support.

Calls can run through Bluetooth or wired headsets. Dual SIM phones are supported, and calls are logged per SIM. Blocked numbers can be managed, and flash alerts, keypad tones and vibration can be turned on for call actions. Voicemail access is available where your device or carrier supports it.

Scheduling a simulated incoming call

A scheduled fake call makes the phone ring with an incoming call at a time you set, for when you want to be shown a call during a meeting or conversation. The listing describes this as a simulated call experience.
