The app for remote control of your Lenz heat products
Senior reviews editor
The Lenz Body heat app runs on a smartphone and works with the lithium packs that power Lenz heating products. The listing names heat vests, socks, gloves, pants and soles as compatible products.
It is aimed at people who wear heated parts under other layers, where the pack cannot easily be reached or read. Heat and battery status are handled from the phone instead.
Each connected lithium pack can be set to its own heat level. A glove pack and a vest pack can therefore run at different temperatures from the same app.
The build we hold is Lenz Body heat app 1.62 (APKS split bundle) for Android 9.0 and up.

The app also gives an overview of the current charge level of all the packs. The developer presents this as useful when the heated item is under several layers of clothing.
The interval function sets a heating period and a pause period for each pack separately. Running heat in cycles rather than continuously is the purpose of the feature.
The developer says this interval setting extends the lifetime of the lithium packs. That claim comes from the developer and has not been independently checked.
The pack LEDs can glow through a thin garment. The app can deactivate them for that reason.
Turning the LEDs off does not change the heat output. The pack keeps running at the level set in the app.
