Transfer your data securely from Android to iPhone and iPad.

Move to iOS is Apple's tool for switching from an Android phone to a new iPhone or iPad. The Android phone runs the app, and the iPhone or iPad starts the transfer. The aim is to bring existing data across during setup so it is already on the new device.
Nothing has to be backed up to a cloud service or computer first. The app handles the copy directly between the two devices.
The build we hold is Move to iOS 4.0.5 (APK) for Android 6.0 and up.

Message history comes across, including multimedia messages and group chats. WhatsApp content from the Android phone is included as well. Call logs move too, along with the SIM and carrier details the new device needs to make and manage calls.
Each of these is a separate category, so a person can choose which ones to include.
Contacts and calendar events transfer to the new device. Camera photos and videos move with their related metadata. Downloaded media, audio recordings and voice memos are copied as well, along with mail accounts and installed apps.
Notifications on the Android phone can show the progress of the migration, so the status is visible while the copy runs.
When a person chooses to migrate, the new iPhone or iPad creates a private Wi-Fi network and looks for the nearby Android device that is running Move to iOS. The person then enters a security code, and the transfer begins. The content is placed in the right apps on the new device.
Both devices need to stay nearby and connected to power until the transfer finishes. If some categories are left out, those items do not move, and the listing says some features may not be available without them.
