What MyENGIE is for and who uses it
MyENGIE is the mobile app from ENGIE Romania S.A. for its own customers. The developer says it gives access to customer account information at any hour, from wherever the phone is.
It is aimed at people who hold ENGIE gas or electricity supply at one or more addresses and want to deal with those accounts on a phone. Anyone with several properties, such as a household with a second home, is the case the listing spends the most time on.
Creating an account and adding consumption addresses
Setting up needs a name, an email address and a password. After that, sign-in uses either the email address or a phone number together with the password chosen at sign-up.
Each supply address is added to the account as a consumption address. If you manage more than one, you give each a name and a symbol, so the right one is quick to find when you switch between them.
Paying gas and electricity bills
Bills for natural gas and electricity can be paid together, in one pass, across any of the consumption addresses on the account. There is no need to open each supply separately.
The listing describes this as the main way the app makes paying simpler and faster for customers who hold several contracts.
Saving bank cards for future payments
After a payment, the card details can be saved to the account. The next time a bill is paid, the card fields do not have to be filled in again.
Up to three bank cards can be stored at once, so a household can keep a card for each of its payers or accounts ready to use.
