In NecroMerger, a pet called the Devourer is always hungry, and keeping it fed is the goal. You summon monsters with dark magic, merge small units into larger ones, and then give them to the Devourer.

The game asks you to manage your lair and monsters to maximize resource generation. Stations, equipment and the bathtub's slime storage all factor into that.

Because the game is idle, resources accumulate over time between sessions, and the layout of stations is what you adjust to improve output.
