NeoPDV: PDV e Estoque

What NeoPDV covers for a small shop

NeoPDV is a point of sale app for Android that small shops use to ring up sales, count stock and keep track of what customers owe. The developer presents it as a replacement for paper notes and loose cash records, with sales, stock and the cash register in one app.

The listing names counter service, quick sales and high sales volume as the situations it is built for. It is aimed at shopkeepers and small businesses rather than large retail chains.

Ringing up sales at the counter

The sales screen is the cash register. The listing says it runs on a phone, a tablet or an Android card machine, and that a sale is recorded in a few taps.

Each sale is written to the cash register, so the day's takings stay in one place. The listing describes the register as part of the same app that handles stock and customers.

Keeping stock counts up to date

Every sale lowers the stock of the items sold, so the count does not have to be updated by hand. Products can be set up with variations, sizes and quantities, which matters for clothing, shoes and other goods sold in more than one size or style.

The app warns when items are running low, so a shop can reorder before a product runs out. A best-selling products view shows which items move fastest.

Customer records and sales on credit

Each customer has a registry with their full purchase history. The app is built to handle fiado, the Brazilian practice of selling on credit and collecting later, without a paper notebook.

It shows the amounts a customer still owes and the payments made against them. The listing presents this as a way to reduce confusion at the register.

Digital catalog for showing products

The app includes a digital catalog for showing products to customers. The listing does not describe how the catalog is shared or whether it links to the stock count, so the page only reports that the catalog is part of the app.
