Rather than using the standard Android hotspot, NetShare+ creates its hotspot over Wi-Fi Direct. The developer says this lets the phone act as a hotspot and a Wi-Fi extender at the same time. Other devices join the network like any Wi-Fi network and reach the internet through the phone's connection.

Sharing with iPhone, PC, Mac and consoles

Android phones and tablets, along with iPhone, iPad, PC, Mac and Chromebook, can connect and receive full internet access, which the developer says lets streaming apps run on them. Sharing works without root.

For PS4 and Xbox, the developer says the app works on rooted devices, a case the original NetShare does not handle.

Repeater mode and connection control

The same device can also work as a Wi-Fi repeater, passing an existing Wi-Fi connection on to other devices. The developer says the connection can be monitored and controlled from within the app.
