What One4Watch is for

One4Watch is a catalog of watch faces for Wear OS smartwatches, paired with a phone app that also produces clock widgets for an Android home screen. The faces range from analog dials and digital clocks to cosmic, neon, retro and soft designs. It suits someone who changes the look of their watch often, or who wants a matching clock on the phone.

The catalog holds 210 designs in ten collections: Energy, Cosmic, Minimal, Industrial, Classic, Sport, Data, Neon, Retro and Soft. Ninety of them are free. The developer lists 120 more that require One4Watch Pro.

Finding and previewing a watch face

You browse the collections on an Android phone, search faces by name, and filter them by style and features. Favorites can be saved so they are easy to find again.

Before choosing, you can preview each design, including how it looks in always-on mode and which accent colors it offers.

Applying a face to a Wear OS watch

Tapping Apply to watch sends the selected face to a Wear OS watch that is paired with the phone. The watch has to be a compatible model, and watch faces cannot be used without one.

Where a face supports it, the watch's Customize editor lets you change accent colors and complication slots, the small areas that show data such as steps or battery.

Clock widgets on an Android home screen

Any face can be turned into a live clock widget for the Android home screen. You can open a face and tap Add to home screen, or add a widget from your launcher and pick a face for it. This needs a launcher that supports widgets.

The widgets show the time with analog hands or digital numbers, matched to the design. Phone widgets work without a Wear OS watch.
