This page needs its stylesheet to be shown
The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

OONI Probe is a network measurement app made by the Open Observatory of Network Interference, a free software project under The Tor Project. Its tests run on your own network and report what they find.
It suits people who want to know whether the sites and chat apps they use are being blocked, or whether a slow connection has a technical cause. The tests are the core of the app, and everything else follows from them.
The app checks whether websites and instant messaging apps are blocked from your connection, and how the blocking is done. Each run produces network measurement data.
The listing says that data may serve as evidence of internet censorship, so the results are meant to be kept and shared rather than only read on screen.
Alongside blocking tests, OONI Probe measures your network's speed and general performance. This is useful when a connection feels unusually slow and you want a measured result rather than a guess.
The speed tests and blocking tests share the same app, so one session can cover both questions.
Some tests look for middleboxes, which are systems placed between your device and the internet. The listing says these may be responsible for censorship and surveillance. The app checks whether they are present on your network.
This covers a different question from blocking tests. A site can fail to load because of a filter at a single point on the path, and the middlebox tests are designed to find that equipment directly.
Since 2012, OONI's community has gathered millions of network measurements from more than 200 countries. The listing says these have shed light on several cases of network interference.
Each person who runs the tests adds to that shared collection, so the results you produce sit alongside measurements from other networks and places.
The build we hold is OONI Probe 6.2.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.
