The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Tor Browser for Android is the only official mobile browser supported by the Tor Project, developers of the world’s strongest tool for privacy and freedom online.

Tor Browser is the mobile browser the Tor Project officially supports for Android. It is built for people who want their web browsing kept private from advertisers, websites and the network they connect through. The listing presents it as free, with donations accepted to support the nonprofit that makes it.
It suits anyone who wants more control over what follows them around the web, or who needs to reach sites that their internet provider has blocked. The listing does not limit it to a particular group of users.
The build we hold is Tor Browser 15.0.26 (140.17.0esr) (APK) for Android 5.0 and up.

Tor Browser keeps each website you visit separated from the others. Third-party trackers and ads on one site cannot use that activity to follow you to another. Cookies are cleared automatically when you finish browsing, so a session does not leave stored data behind.
According to the listing, the browser stops someone monitoring your connection from seeing which websites you visit. Such a person can only tell that you are using Tor.
Your traffic passes through the Tor network, where it is relayed and encrypted three times. The network is made up of thousands of volunteer-run servers called Tor relays.
Fingerprinting identifies a device from details of its browser and hardware. The listing says Tor aims to make all users look the same, which makes it harder to single out one person from their browser and device information.
The browser can also open sites that your local internet service provider may have blocked.
Tor Browser is free and open source software from the Tor Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the US. Help is available through the Tor Project's mobile manual, and the privacy policy is published on its website.
