What the Oral-B app is for
Oral-B is a companion app for Bluetooth enabled Oral-B toothbrushes. It is built around one habit: brushing for the full two minutes that dentists recommend, and covering the whole mouth instead of the front teeth alone.
The developer cites studies saying the average person brushes for 30 to 60 seconds, and that up to 80% of people spend too little time in at least one zone of the mouth. Its figures also say 60% of people either skip their back molars or spend too little time on them. The app is aimed at anyone who wants those gaps closed.
