Organic Maps is a fast, detailed offline map and GPS navigation app for travel, hiking, trekking, and cycling adventures.

Organic Maps is an offline map and GPS navigation app for hiking, trekking, cycling and travel. Its base data comes from OpenStreetMap, the volunteer-edited world map, and the developer says the maps are updated every two weeks.
It suits people who want to navigate without relying on mobile data, such as hikers in areas with no signal or travellers who want to avoid roaming fees. The developer states that it collects no data or identifiers and shows no ads.
The build we hold is Organic Maps・Offline Map & GPS 2026.09.29-32-Google (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

Searching for places and calculating routes both work offline. You can plan walking, hiking, cycling or driving routes, including routes between cities or countries and routes with several waypoints. Voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions are included, and Android Auto is supported.
The developer says that without background data transfers the battery lasts longer. It also says zooming, search and route calculation are fast, though nothing here has been tested on a device.
Special map layers show hiking and cycling routes from around the world, including coloured bike and MTB routes and official hiking paths. Map styles include Outdoors, Contour Lines, Hiking, Cycling and Metro/Subway, and a dark theme is available for night use.
Place search works by address, name or category across millions of points of interest. Each place can show opening hours, wheelchair accessibility and linked Wikipedia articles, and typing "?wiki" in search lists every place that has one. Public transport route numbers appear at stops, while live schedules and routing are listed as in development.
The track recorder saves your own routes, and you can import and export them as GPX, KML, KMZ or GeoJSON files. Favourite places can be saved and shared the same way.
This lets routes move between Organic Maps and other mapping or GPS tools that read those formats.
The map editor lets you add missing places or change the map directly, with the edits going to OpenStreetMap. The project is open source and developed by a group of contributors who work on features, fixes and translations.
The listing points to a Telegram group and a contribution page for anyone who wants to get involved.
