What the PAYBACK app is for

PAYBACK - Karte und Coupons is the phone version of the PAYBACK loyalty program. It is aimed at people who collect points across shops such as EDEKA, dm, Netto, Amazon and C&A. The PAYBACK card, the partner coupons and the payment features all sit in one app.

The developer also lists online shopping and food ordering as things you can do in it. Partner offers and bargains are shown alongside the card, so you can check them before you shop.

PAYBACK card, coupons and flyers

The PAYBACK card is stored in the app, so points can be collected without carrying the plastic card. Coupons, flyers (Prospekte) and special offers from partner retailers are gathered in the same place.

Using the coupons and offers from the app is how you keep track of what each partner is currently promoting. The listing names the partners but does not describe how each offer is redeemed.

Paying in shops with PAYBACK PAY

PAYBACK PAY is the app's contactless payment feature. The developer names EDEKA, dm, Thalia and Alnatura among the shops where it works. Points are collected with each payment.

Paying for fuel at Aral with Fuel and Go

Fuel and Go lets you pay for fuel at Aral from the app, so there is no need to go to the cashier after filling up. Points are collected through the same payment.

It is the only payment option in the listing that is specific to a fuel station. The other payment and points features cover shops in general.
