The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Back up your contacts & access them anywhere

Contacts is Google's address book app. It keeps your phone numbers, email addresses and photos in one place, and the developer lists it under the Communication category. Because the contacts live in your Google Account, the same list can follow you to another phone or be opened on any device where you are signed in.
It suits anyone who wants a single contact list that does not depend on one handset, and anyone who keeps separate work and personal numbers. The developer also lists a watch companion for Wear OS, covered below.
The build we hold is Contacts 4.90.16.998876676 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

Contacts are stored in your Google Account, so they are not tied to the phone you first saved them on. When you sign in on a new device, the list is there to open.
Deleted contacts go to Trash and can be recovered for 30 days after deletion, according to the developer. Anything removed by mistake can be pulled back from there within that window.
You can view contacts by account, which separates work entries from personal ones. Adding a contact is quick, and you can change phone numbers, email addresses and photos on an existing entry.
The developer says the app offers help with merging duplicate contacts and filling in useful details. This suggests the same person saved twice can be combined into one entry, though the listing does not describe how the matching works.
The app shows upcoming birthdays and anniversaries as highlights. You can turn on notifications so that a special day does not pass without a reminder.
Contacts you have recently added or opened are easy to reach again. This makes it simpler to return to someone you were just in touch with.
On Wear OS, the developer lists three ways to see contacts: a favorite contacts tile, a tile for a single contact, and a complication that can sit on a watch face. These let you reach a person from the watch without opening the phone.

Google Messages: the default texting app is a good one, if your carrier cooperates
Google Messages is Google's free SMS and RCS texting app. It brings modern chat features to ordinary phone numbers, but the best parts depend on carriers, other users' setups and AI extras.

Phone by Google: a good dialer, but the best parts are gated by device and country
Google's dialer handles spam warnings, caller ID and blocking for everyone, but Call Screen, Hold for Me, call recording and transcription depend on your phone and region.
