Hundreds of Chess Puzzles and Problems to help improve your Chess Game!

Pocket Chess is a chess puzzle app for players who want to practise and brush up on their game. It is made up of hundreds of problems, and the listing presents it as a way to learn and improve rather than a game to play against opponents.
The puzzles start with checkmate in 2 and run up to checkmate in 4, with the listing saying there is more beyond that. The app is free to download.
Each puzzle is a checkmate problem with a set number of moves, so the user works out the forced mate in two, three or four moves. The range is meant to build from short tactics to longer sequences.
The build we hold is Pocket Chess – Chess Puzzles 0.33.1 (APKS split bundle) for Android 6.0 and up.

Because the collection runs to hundreds of problems, there is a large set to work through over repeated sessions.
The developer describes the boards as small and simple, with the important pieces kept in focus. The stated aim is to make it quicker to recognise common chess patterns.
This layout is the main design choice the listing points to, so it is the thing to judge the app by if you are considering it for pattern training.
Pocket Chess suits anyone who already knows how the pieces move and wants repeated practice with checkmate patterns. The listing frames it as a way to improve an existing game.
It is a short-session format: each puzzle is self-contained, so it fits into a few minutes at a time.
