What Dino Tim teaches preschoolers

Preschool Kids: Counting Games is a learning game from Didactoons aimed at children aged 3 to 7. Its main subjects are numbers, counting and shapes, and it is built around Dino Tim, a character the listing presents as the centre of a story.

The listing positions it for preschool, kindergarten and primary school use. It says the game suits every age but specifically recommends the 3 to 7 range.

Counting and shape play inside the rescue story

The plot has witches abducting Tim's family, and the child plays a superhero trying to rescue them. Counting and shape tasks sit inside that story rather than as separate drills.

A good witch lets the player fly, and along the way the player collects shapes and numbers. The listing says these collected items are what allow the player to cast magic and turn the witches into animals.

Voiceover and language switching

The game includes voiceover intended to help children learn their first words and numbers, so a child who cannot yet read can follow prompts by ear.

The educational content is written in English. The listing says the language can be switched, and names Spanish, French, Italian and more, so the same game can be used to learn those languages.

Age range and school use

The game is rated Everyone on Google Play. The listing targets kindergarten and preschool children and extends the suggested range to primary school, with the stated age band of 3 to 7.

The developer's listing describes the game as suitable for children learning numbers, counting and shapes for the first time in those age groups.
