What Quran Hifz & Memorize is for

Quran 16 Line Hifz & Memorize is a Quran reading app aimed at people who are memorizing the Quran or have already memorized it (hafiz). The developer presents it as a way to revise your manzil and strengthen your hifz.

Most of the app is built around the reading page and the revision tools that sit alongside it. The developer also links the project's source code on GitHub.

Reading the Quran in 16-line or Madina layouts

You can read the Quran in a 16-line mushaf layout or in the 15-line Madina mushaf layout, so the page breaks can match the printed copy you already use.

Each ayah can be opened to show its translation, which lets you check the meaning of a passage while you revise it.

Finding similar verses while reading

Long pressing an ayah shows its mutashabihat, the similar ayat that are easy to confuse with it. This is aimed at hafiz who mix up passages with close wording.

The lookup happens from the reading page, so you do not need to leave the text to check a similar passage.

Marking ayahs to revise and tracking mistakes

You can mark any ayah you want to revisit more often, or one where you made a mistake. The marks stay on the page so the passages that need work are easy to find again.

Marked ayahs can be combined with the quiz, so the same passages you flagged are the ones you test yourself on.
