Rabbit Exchange

Phone condition checks for an Amazon trade-in

Rabbit Exchange is a phone diagnostics app with one purpose: checking the working condition of a phone that is being traded in to Amazon in exchange for a new one. It is for people who have placed a trade-in order on Amazon's platform for the phone they are installing the app on.

The app is tied to that single order and that single device. It is not a general tool for testing other phones.

Starting the check with the partner's code

You install the app on the same phone the trade-in order was placed for. After opening it, you enter the six-digit unique code given to you by the partner's delivery agent. The code is what connects this phone's check to your order on Amazon's platform.

Running the diagnostic tests and getting a reference code

Once the code is accepted, you run each of the diagnostic tests the app lists for the phone. When all of them are complete, the last screen generates an Exchange Reference Code. It is either a success code or a failure code, and it marks the evaluation as finished.

Pickup and handing over the old phone

The delivery agent scans the Exchange Reference Code from the agent's own phone on the partner's platform. The scan shows whether the device is to be picked up or not. Before you hand the old phone over, reset it to factory settings.
