Live train status, where is my train, offline timetable, trip planner & chat

RailRadar is a train status app for Indian Railways, built around the question of where a train is right now. It is aimed at people commuting on suburban local networks and at people making long journeys across India.
It brings together live running status, a trip planner, offline timetables, platform and coach information, and a chat feature for travelers. The listing describes the whole package as a single place to check a train before and during a trip.
The build we hold is RailRadar: Live Train Status 5.0.4 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

The live tracker places any Indian Railways train on a map using on-board GPS or cell-tower triangulation while the train is moving. The developer says this works inside trains in motion.
Arrival estimates come from an ETA engine that uses delay records for the day of the week and accounts for terminal slack absorption. In practice, the expected arrival reflects how trains on that route have tended to run on that day, not only the timetable.
Offline tracking mode follows a journey without mobile data or Wi-Fi, which is the case for many trips while the train is between stations. Offline schedules keep the timetable available when there is no connection.
The chat feature works without active internet as well, so travelers on the same train can still message each other when the network drops.
The journey timeline lists each scheduled halt with its distance in km, shows scheduled and actual timings side by side, and marks platforms along the route. It is the view for following progress stop by stop.
For a given train, the app also shows coach layouts and platform numbers, and calculates live fares. Trip planning sits alongside these, so a route can be set up before the journey starts.
