SecureREC Remote is a mobile application dedicated for the IC recorder from Sony.

REC Remote is a companion app for Sony IC recorders. It connects to the recorder over Bluetooth so you can operate it from a phone instead of its own buttons and display.
The listing says the app is for people who own a compatible IC recorder and want to control it remotely. Compatible models are listed in a help guide that the developer points to.
The core controls are start and stop. You can also add track marks during a recording, which place a labelled point in the audio so you can find that moment again later.
These controls are the ones the listing puts first, so they are the functions most people will use while the recorder is out of reach.
The app shows the current recording volume levels and lets you adjust them. This is useful when the recorder is placed somewhere you cannot easily reach or look at it during a session.
Recording settings can also be changed from the phone. The listing does not break these down by name, so the exact options depend on the recorder model.
Everything runs over a Bluetooth connection between the phone and the recorder. The developer advises keeping the app updated to the latest version.
Some features may not be available on every recorder. Check the help guide for your model before expecting a particular control to appear.
The build we hold is REC Remote: Sony IC Recorder 3.5.0 (APK) for Android 5.0 and up.
