Ring - Always Home

Ring app for checking home remotely

Ring - Always Home is the companion app for Ring video doorbells, security cameras, alarm systems and smart lights. It suits people who want to see and hear what is happening at a front door, a yard or an entrance while they are away. The listing pitches it at anyone who is out of the house, whether travelling or running errands.

Doorbell and camera alerts and live video

Ring doorbells and cameras can send an alert to your smartphone or tablet when someone is at the door or when motion is detected. From there you can open live HD video from the device. Two-Way Talk lets you speak with a visitor through the doorbell or camera.

Reviewing, saving and sharing Ring videos

Reviewing, saving and sharing Ring videos requires a Ring Protect subscription. The listing notes that a free trial is available to start. With Ring Protect you can go back through recorded clips, keep them and share them.

Scheduling Ring Smart Lights and linked recording

Ring Smart Lights can be switched on and off and set to run on a schedule from the app. Some models also notify you about motion nearby. Those models can trigger other compatible Ring devices to record, so motion picked up by a light can start a recording on a nearby doorbell or camera.

Alarm sensors and emergency dispatch

Ring Alarm systems monitor entrances and indoor spaces and detect certain safety hazards. You receive real-time alerts when an alarm sensor is triggered.

Ring Alarm Professional Monitoring is an optional enrollment that requires a compatible Ring Protect subscription. With it, you can request dispatch of emergency responders when your Ring Alarm is triggered.
