This page needs its stylesheet to be shown
The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.
Allow CSS for this site — including in any content blocker or privacy extension that may be stopping it — then reload the page.
Your personal reading journal — reimagined
Senior reviews editor
Rork is a reading log for Android. It covers the whole cycle: you add a book, track how far you have got, keep notes and quotes, and look back at what you finished over the year. The developer pitches it at people who are only starting to read regularly as well as at those who already read every day.
The feature list is a tracker, a calendar, notes and quotes, lists and collections, book search with a barcode scanner, dark mode, a yearly summary, offline mode, a community section and ratings and reviews. These pieces are meant to work together around one shelf of books.
The build we hold is Rork — the art of reading 17.0.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.

The tracker shows how many pages or how much of a book you have read and how much remains. The calendar records the days you read, and the streak counter keeps a running count of consecutive days. The developer notes that a single minute a day still counts toward a streak, which makes it easier to keep up on busy days.
At the end of the year, the yearly reading summary gathers your activity into one view. It is useful if you want to see how your reading changed over twelve months.
Notes and quotes are attached to the book they came from, so a passage you marked stays with its title. You can also write reflections alongside them, which helps when you want to remember why a book stayed with you.
For books you would rather not show on screen, the privacy setting hides the title, author and cover immediately. The entry still exists in your log, but the details that identify the book are masked.
Custom lists and themed collections let you group books however you like, for example a list for a holiday trip, a set for rereading, or a shelf for a particular mood. A book can be sorted into more than one list.
To add a book, you can search by title or author or point the barcode scanner at the back of a physical copy. Both routes fill in the book so you do not have to type the details by hand.
The community section shows which other readers have picked up a book on the current day. Ratings and reviews let you rate a book and read what others wrote about it.
Offline mode lets you keep using the app without a connection, and dark mode changes the display for low-light reading.
