Ryanair

What the Ryanair app covers

The Ryanair app is published by Ryanair Limited for its own airline. It handles the steps around a flight: finding a fare, checking in, and getting the boarding pass onto a phone. It suits people who already fly Ryanair and want those steps in one place.

Searching for Ryanair fares in Europe

Fare search is the starting point. The developer says it surfaces the cheapest seats on Ryanair flights across its European network.

The search is for Ryanair services only, so it shows Ryanair's own prices rather than those of other carriers.

Mobile check-in and boarding passes

Check-in can be done from the app while you are on the move, so you are not tied to a computer before the flight. Once checked in, the boarding pass is delivered to your phone in the app. You keep it there rather than printing it or carrying paper.

Adding in-flight extras before you fly

The app offers a choice of in-flight extras that you can select in one action. The extras are added to your booking from the same app that holds your boarding pass.
