Samsung Camera Manager is a companion app for Samsung's newer smart cameras. It connects a camera to an Android phone over wireless links so the two can work together.
The listing names the NX1 and NX500 directly, along with later Samsung cameras that support both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It is built around the wireless sharing features those models include.
Pairing is the first step. The app links the phone and the camera over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and after that the two devices stay connected for transfers and control.
The listing describes the pairing as quick. It does not describe the steps involved.
Photos taken on the camera can be sent to the phone over the wireless connection. The listing presents this as the main reason to use the app, so a phone can receive pictures without a cable or memory card swap.
The listing does not say which file formats are transferred or whether videos are included.
