Sketchbook is a sketching, painting and drawing app for Android. The developer aims it at people who draw regularly, from quick sketches to finished illustrations, and says artists and illustrators use it for its feature set and adjustable tools.
Its main pieces are a set of brushes, guides for alignment, a layer system and a sparse interface. Those four parts are what the listing spends most of its space on.
The brush library includes pencils, markers, airbrushes and a smear brush, among others. The developer says these are built to imitate traditional drawing and painting media.
Each brush can be customized, so you can change how a stroke looks rather than only picking from a fixed preset. That matters for anyone who wants a particular pencil texture or marker edge for a recurring style.
Rulers and guides help with straight lines, perspective and alignment, which is useful for technical drawing or lettering. Stroke tools are listed as support for precision when you need it.
These tools are meant to be used alongside freehand work, so you can switch between loose sketching and measured lines on the same canvas.
