Smart TV Player: IPTV Smarters is a video player for IPTV, the live TV streams delivered over the internet. Its main input is the M3U playlist, a list of channel streams that the app reads from a web address or a file on the device. Channels come from the playlists you bring to it.
It suits people who already have playlists or stream links and want them in one place on their phone, with the option to send the picture to a bigger screen.
A playlist can be added three ways: by pasting an M3U URL, by uploading an M3U file stored on the device, or by adding one stream URL on its own. Videos saved on the device can be imported too, so they sit in the same library as the playlists.
Once imported, a playlist can be renamed or removed at any time. You can switch between playlists without leaving the app, which keeps several sources organized in the same place.
Channels within a playlist are sorted into categories, and a search box finds a channel by name. A recent channels list keeps the ones you opened last, and favorites let you pin the channels you watch most.
These tools work together. A typical session might start with favorites, fall back to search for a channel not on the list, and return to recent channels after switching playlists.
The built-in player offers full-screen viewing, Picture-in-Picture so a channel keeps playing in a small window while you use other apps, a playback lock, and a sleep timer.
Casting works on supported devices. You can cast the viewing session itself or cast media to the TV, so the picture moves from the phone to the larger screen.
