Smash Block is a block puzzle game from Unico Studio, built around the same drag-and-place idea as classic grid puzzles. It is pitched at short breaks, longer logic sessions, or anyone who wants a puzzle that does not push them against a clock.
The listing gives it a PEGI 3 rating and reports 4.64 stars from 15,798 ratings on Google Play, with more than 100,000 installs.
You pick up a block and drag it onto the board. The core task is to fit pieces so that they line up and match, which the listing calls making combos.
Because the board fills as you go, the game rewards thinking a move or two ahead. Making space early and keeping the board clear are the two habits the listing points to as the way to keep playing.
When blocks clear, the listing describes a cascade of visual effects as they smash away. Each cleared line or combo gives a visible reward for the move you just made.
There is no timer in the game. You can take as long as you want to study the board, which suits the calm, low-pressure pace the developer describes.
The developer names Woodoku, Blockudoku, tetris-inspired puzzles and unblock puzzle challenges as the games Smash Block is built for. If you already play one of those, the drag-to-place board and combo matching are the parts to expect.
