What SolaXCloud is for

SolaXCloud is a monitoring app for SOLAX inverters that run on the SOLAX CLOUD platform. It shows how the inverter is doing, how much energy it has produced, how much the household uses, and how much is sent back to the grid. The developer describes it for both end-users and agents who look after installed systems.

Owners of a SOLAX CLOUD system get the most from it, since they can both view and adjust their inverter. Agents use the same app to check sites they manage, with a narrower set of permissions.

Checking inverter status and energy figures

The app reports the inverter's current status along with yield, load consumption and exported energy. The developer says these readings are shown in real time and are supported by analysis of data stored in the cloud.

Because the figures come from the cloud, the app can show history and patterns across a system, not only the moment it is opened. Load consumption and exported energy appear alongside yield, so a user can compare what the panels produced with what the home used and what went back to the grid.

Remote and local login for owners

End-users can sign in remotely or through a local connection. Either way they can see real-time data and change the inverter's settings from the app.

Remote login is the route for checking a system away from home. The developer lists local login as the second option for owners, and both options give the same view of the inverter.

Agent access to customer sites

Agents can only sign in remotely. Once signed in they can view site information and inverter data, but they cannot change settings the way an owner can. The developer says this limit exists to protect user privacy.

Agents who manage several installations use this view to check each site's status and energy figures from one app.

Account and device compatibility

SolaXCloud only works with an account registered on the SOLAX CLOUD site, solaxcloud.com. Inverters on the older SOLAX PORTAL platform are not covered by this app. The developer points those owners to a separate app available from its own website.
