Summer's Heartbeat

A village summer dating sim

Summer's Heartbeat is an Android game built as a full-motion video dating sim, published by StoryTaco.Inc. You play Minjun, who returns to his hometown of Osan with a large debt and plans to run a quiet cafe. The listing rates it PEGI 12.

It suits players who want romance-driven story games rather than action or puzzles.

How choices shape the story

Every word you say and every choice you make feeds into your own version of the story and its ending. Day to day, the village girls fill your time with small shared moments, crushes, misunderstandings and jealousy. The story keeps asking whether the feelings are real or just the summer air, and the listing implies different choices lead to different endings.

The characters you can pursue

The listing introduces five characters but names three. Dayeon is a loan shark who presents herself as the only person able to get under Minjun's skin. Fury is Minjun's childhood friend, and the listing describes a place that only the two of them go. Ella is Fury's older sister and a teasing presence who remarks on how sweet Minjun is.

Full-motion video and the Osan setting

Scenes are presented as full-motion video, so the characters appear as filmed footage rather than drawn art. The story is set in the countryside village of Osan. The listing describes it as calm on the surface, with the romance and the mix-ups arriving through ordinary days.
