Record discreetly in the background, even when your screen is locked or OFF.

Third Eye Hidden Camera Record is an Android app from DOSA Apps that records video on the phone without the screen being on. The developer presents it as a way to protect a phone from people who should not be using it, and to keep a record of what happens while the device is out of sight.
It is aimed at people who want a phone to keep recording while it sits locked or switched off. The listing calls it an intruder selfie catcher, so the intruder detection feature is the part it leads with.
The main function is background video recording. The app keeps capturing footage when the screen is locked or switched off, so the phone does not need to be unlocked or in use for the recording to run.
Because nothing has to stay on screen, the recording can be left running on a phone that is set down somewhere. The listing gives no further detail on how recordings are started, stopped or stored.
The app is built around intruder detection. The listing says it can catch a selfie of someone who tries to use the phone, which is the purpose its name gives.
The intruder selfie is a photo taken of whoever is at the device. The listing does not describe how the detection is triggered.
The developer describes the app as discreet. Recording happens in the background and the listing does not describe any on-screen indicator, so the phone can look ordinary while it records.
The name Hidden Camera reflects that same idea. Its stated use is privacy and phone security, not general video making.
The build we hold is Third Eye Hidden Camera Record 3.0.4.1 (APKS split bundle) for Android 8.0 and up.
