Thomas & Friends Minis is a simulation game from Budge Studios, rated PEGI 3. You build a train set one piece at a time, then ride a Minis engine through it, with Thomas and his friends as the engines you can drive.
The listing reports more than 10,000,000 installs and an average rating of 4.5 from 39,087 ratings. It is aimed at young children, and it combines track building, decorating and driving in one game.
Laying track with loops, ramps and stunts
The main activity is building track. The pieces include twisting turns, rattling ramps, whirly waterslides, frozen loops, rainbow bridges and dino spine rails. Rollercoasters and boosts are listed as stunt pieces for a faster ride.
Because each piece is placed by hand, a set can be as simple or as elaborate as the builder wants. The listing describes the track options as endless, so there is no fixed layout to aim for.

Driving through your track and optional purchases
Once a set is built, you drive through it from a third-person view, with Thomas, Percy and other engines as options. The listing describes the game as free to try, with some content available only through in-app purchases. Those purchases are charged to the account, and they can be turned off in device settings.
