Handwritten notes, PDF, mind maps & flashcards — your all-in-one study app.

Editor, tools and utilities
touchnotes is a note-taking app that brings handwriting, document reading, web clipping, video notes, voice transcription, mind mapping and flashcard review into one place. The developer frames it as a workflow that runs from capturing material through organizing it to reviewing it later, so it suits people who study from mixed sources or manage a lot of reference reading.
Each part feeds the others. A PDF you annotate, a web page you clip and a lecture you transcribe can all end up in the same set of notes, then be turned into mind maps or flashcards.
The build we hold is touchnotes: Notes & PDF 6.7.2 (APK) for Android 7.0 and up.

The app imports PDF, PPT, Word and EPUB files. You can write, highlight and annotate on the pages while you read, so the marks and your own thinking sit alongside the source.
Web clipping pulls articles, reference material and educational pages straight into your notes. You can extract the key information from a page and reorganize it, instead of keeping a bookmark you rarely reopen. Video works similarly: you take notes while a video plays and capture important frames into the note page at any point.
Handwriting recognition converts written notes into editable text, with Chinese and English both supported. Formula recognition handles maths written by hand or taken from an image, turning it into editable equations.
Voice recognition transcribes speech in real time. The listing names lectures, meetings and interviews as typical sources, and the transcript can be edited and organized like any other note.
The infinite canvas lets you write, draw and place images anywhere without page limits, which the developer suggests for brainstorming and project planning. Live notes add dynamic content alongside handwriting, images and stickers.
Mind maps are built from the key information already in your notes. Fragmented material is arranged into a hierarchical structure, which helps when you need to see how the parts of a topic connect.
Flashcards are made from key content in your notes. Several tags can be applied to each card for sorting, and the cards move into a review routine built into the app.
Notes can be stored in Dropbox through a direct integration, or in other cloud services that support WebDAV. The listing names Nutstore as an example of a WebDAV provider.
