Ultra Camera Ai 1000x Zoom is a camera app for Android whose main selling point is zoom. The developer, Garage Labs Studio, pitches it at people who want to photograph or film subjects that are far away and who want to set the exposure themselves rather than leave it to automatic mode.
It covers still photos and video in one app. Most of the listing is about getting a distant subject to fill the frame, then controlling how the shot is exposed and focused.
The listing advertises a 1000x zoom for still photos and a matching zoom for video. The developer does not describe how image quality holds up at the highest levels, so the zoom range should be read as the advertised figure only.
For quicker framing, the zoom presets jump to fixed levels such as 10x and 20x. A manual slider sits alongside them for stepping to an in-between level.
Manual mode lets you adjust ISO, shutter speed, white balance and exposure directly. These are the settings that decide how bright, how grainy and how blue or warm a shot looks, so this is the part of the app that suits someone who wants to tune each frame.
Focus is set by tapping the screen. An on-screen indicator appears at the tapped point so you can see where the camera is focusing, which matters most when zoomed in on a small subject.
A single mode switch moves between photo capture and HD video recording, so you do not need a separate app for each. Both use the same zoom and manual controls described above.
Everything you capture is saved on the device itself, and the built-in gallery is where you go back to view it. The gallery includes sorting, though the listing does not specify the sort options.
The build we hold is Ultra Camera Ai 1000x Zoom 28.0.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.
