The Valida Vorsorge Management app is an account companion for members of Valida's provident fund and pension fund. It is built around two things: your severance entitlement (Abfertigung) and your company pension (Betriebspension).
It runs on a phone or a tablet. The developer lists it as a way to keep both entitlements in view without going to a branch or a paper statement.
The app shows the account information of the Vorsorgekasse, the provident fund that holds severance savings. It covers current balances as well as historical account entries, so you can look back at earlier periods as well as the present position.
Both current and past figures are listed as available in the app, which lets you follow how the account has developed over time.
For the Pensionskasse, the company pension fund, the app shows contribution information and benefit information. These are the two sides of the pension record: what has been paid in, and what is due to be paid out.
Together with the provident fund figures, this puts both parts of your retirement provision on one screen.
The app lets you make changes to your personal data directly in the app, without contacting the fund by another route. The developer presents this as a convenience feature.
A built-in FAQ section covers common questions about the funds and the app itself, so you can check an answer before contacting Valida.
