Batch Convert, Compress Video to MP4, MP3, 3GP, MKV, AVI, MOV, MTS, WMV, VOB,AAC

Video Converter & Compressor is an Android app from Inverse AI for changing the format, size and settings of video files stored on the phone. It handles a long list of inputs, including MTS, M2TS, VOB, WMV, FLV, DAV and MXF, which are formats a phone player may not open.
The listing describes it as a tool for re-encoding footage, so it suits someone who needs a clip in a different container, a smaller file, or a different resolution or frame rate. Its batch conversion option, named in the listing summary, covers more than one file at a time.
The build we hold is Video Converter & Compressor 1.0.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 5.0 and up.

The converter writes output to a wide set of video containers, among them MP4, MKV, AVI, 3GP, MOV, MPEG, WEBM and M4V. The listing also names H264 as a supported format, which is a codec rather than a container, so output settings for it are listed separately from the file type.
Compression is the other half of the job. Lowering the bitrate and the resolution shrinks the file, and the listing says both can be set by hand. This is the route for sending a long recording through a messaging app or freeing space on a phone.
Resolution can be picked from a preset list running from 4K down to 240p, or typed in as a custom value. Frame rate works the same way, with preset values or a custom number. Both settings apply at the conversion step, so a file can be scaled and re-timed in one pass.
Bitrate is adjustable as well. Raising it keeps more detail at a larger file size, and lowering it does the reverse. Together these three controls cover most of what a person would change when re-encoding a clip for a particular device or upload limit.
A video's own subtitle tracks can be kept, or a subtitle file can be uploaded in SubRip, mov_text, SRT, WebVTT or VTT format and attached to the output. Existing audio tracks can be kept or dropped, and external audio in MP3, AAC, M4A or WAV can be added alongside them.
For audio alone, the app converts a video into MP3, AAC, AC3, OGG, M4A or WAV. That makes it usable for pulling a soundtrack, a lecture or a voice recording out of a video file.
