Auto-adjust media volume when you open any app. Set rules once, forget forever.

Volume Control by App Auto is an Android app that changes the media volume when you open another app. You set a rule for an app once, and the developer's examples are YouTube at 20 percent, Spotify at 60 percent and Zoom at 40 percent.
It suits people who listen to or watch media in several apps and would rather not reach for the volume keys each time. The developer lists it as a rule-based tool, so the work happens in the rules you write.
Each rule can target one app and set its media volume. Rules can also depend on where the sound is going, so the same app can have one level on the phone speaker, another on wired headphones, another over Bluetooth and another in a car.
When more than one rule matches, the most specific one applies. A rule for one app on Bluetooth, for example, takes priority over a general rule for that app.
Rules can also depend on the time of day, such as keeping media quieter at night and louder in the morning. This works alongside the per-app and output device rules.
A global volume cap sets a ceiling that applies to all apps. A loud app cannot go above the level you set.
When volume goes up, the change is a gradual ramp rather than a sudden jump. If you adjust the volume by hand, the app remembers the change and respects it for a time you can configure.
The service can be paused or stopped from its notification, so you can control it without opening the app itself.
The build we hold is Volume Control by App — Auto 1.3.2 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.0 and up.
