Application for syncing Galaxy Watch
Senior reviews editor
Watch Manager is a sync companion for the Samsung Galaxy Watch. It does not run on its own: the Galaxy Wearable app must be installed first, and this app works alongside it.
It suits people who want calendar entries, call history, texts, files and plug-in apps moving between their phone and their watch.
The build we hold is Watch Manager 2.2.17.26081051 (APK) for Android 12 and up.

The app searches for nearby devices over Bluetooth so the Galaxy Watch can connect to the phone. It also handles updates for apps on the watch.
Plug-in apps for the watch are installed through it as well, using the phone as the route.
Calendar and schedule data sync from the phone to the watch, so upcoming entries show up on the wrist. Call logs and SMS messages sync the same way.
Contacts sync depends on a Samsung account. The app uses the account registered on the phone, and that account is what carries the contact data across.
You can send saved files from the phone to the watch and receive files from the watch back to the phone.
On Galaxy Watch models that support eSIM, the app can scan a QR code when you activate the watch, which is how the watch's cellular plan is set up.
