Smart Switch Mobile is Samsung's tool for moving your old phone's data onto a new Galaxy device. It is aimed at people who are changing phones and want their contacts, photos and messages to arrive on the Galaxy without copying them by hand.
The listing covers Android owners and iPhone owners, so the same app serves both. Which route you take depends on what your old phone runs and what you have on hand, such as a cable or an Apple ID.
The build we hold is Samsung Smart Switch Mobile 3.7.73.4 (APK) for Android 6.0 and up.

The app carries contacts, messages, call logs, memos, alarms and Wi-Fi network settings across. It also moves wallpapers and documents, and photos as well as videos and music.
Calendar entries transfer only when they are stored on the device itself. Music and videos transfer only when they are DRM-free, so protected purchases stay behind, and the listing says music does not come across from an iCloud import.
An iPhone can be connected to the Galaxy with a cable, using the iPhone's cable (Lightning or 30-pin) and a USB connector. Alternatively, an import from iCloud uses your Apple ID to pull data from the cloud instead.
If you prefer a computer in the middle, the listing describes a PC or Mac version of Smart Switch that works with iTunes, and it links to Samsung's site for setup instructions.
Smart Switch can move app data and home screen layouts, so apps can pick up where they left off and your icons land in the same places. These two items work only when the new device is a Galaxy, and the listing says the Galaxy side must be upgraded first.
The app can also look at the apps you used before and find them on Google Play, or suggest similar ones if they are not available there.
