This page needs its stylesheet to be shown
The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

Editor, media and streaming
Web Video Cast is an Android app that sends video from websites, and from files on your phone, to a television or a streaming stick. The listing points to movies, TV shows, live news and sports as the main things people would watch this way.
It suits anyone who already watches video in a phone browser and wants it on a larger screen without a separate app for each site.
The build we hold is Web Video Cast | Browser to TV 6.0.4 (APKS split bundle) for Android 10 and up.

The app lists Chromecast, Roku, DLNA receivers, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, and smart TVs from LG, Samsung and Sony, among others. A PlayStation 4 can receive casts through its own web browser, and other consoles, smart TVs and set-top boxes can connect by visiting cast2tv.app in a web browser.
The developer asks anyone with a compatibility problem to get in touch with the TV brand and model number. The app does not cast a single browser tab the way the Chromecast extension for desktop Chrome does.
You browse inside the app and start the video on the page as you normally would. The app then lets you cast it. The listing says it detects subtitles on the web page, and you can also load your own subtitle files or search OpenSubtitles.org from within the app.
The sources and the streaming device decide what plays. Video must be in a format the TV can decode, because the app does no decoding or transcoding of its own. The developer says failures and buffering that come from the media provider's server are outside its control.
Videos stored on the phone can be cast as well as web video. Photos can be cast by long-pressing one in the file browser. Audio files, including music, are supported.
Web video in HTML5 form and MP4 files are supported. HLS live streams in M3U8 format work where the streaming device supports them.
A premium version, bought as an in-app purchase, removes in-app advertising and adds bookmarks, a home page you choose, a video history, a queue, a home screen shortcut and a list of most visited sites. The listing notes that some of these do not work on every streaming device.
Refunds are only given within 24 hours of purchase, and the order number has to be sent as text rather than as a screenshot.
