Windows App securely connects you to all remote Windows experiences, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Microsoft Dev Box, Remote Desktop Services, and remote PCs.

Windows App is Microsoft's client for reaching Windows environments that run somewhere else. The Windows desktop, the applications or the development machine stay on a remote system, and the app shows them on your Android device. It is published by Microsoft Corporation.
The people it is aimed at are those whose Windows work lives on a remote host, whether that is a cloud desktop assigned to them, a company-managed session or a PC they own that they reach from elsewhere.
The listing names three cloud services the app connects to. Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 both provide Windows desktops hosted in Microsoft's cloud. Microsoft Dev Box provides developer workstations in the same family.
The build we hold is Windows App 11.0.26081.13925 (APK) for Android 10 and up.

Because one client covers all three, a person who is given access to more than one of these services can reach them from the same app instead of installing a separate client for each.
Besides the cloud services, the listing says the app connects to Remote Desktop Services, which is the on-premises or self-managed way to host Windows sessions for others. It also connects to individual remote PCs, so a single machine at home or in an office can be reached as well.
The description does not separate these connection types into different modes. They are presented as destinations inside one app.
The short description says the app connects to virtual apps as well as remote PCs. A virtual app is a single application delivered from a remote Windows host, so you can use it without opening a full desktop session.
This is the option for someone who needs one Windows program on an Android device rather than the whole remote desktop.
