Woodsense: Wood Plans & Guides

What WoodSense covers for home and workshop builds

WoodSense is a woodworking project guide from Next Vision Limited, aimed at people planning a build for the house, the yard or a workshop. The listing's short summary mentions wood ID and step-by-step videos. The longer description focuses on the projects themselves.

The projects it names are outdoor tables, benches and garden chairs, planters and raised garden beds, playhouses, shelving and cabinets, and workbenches with tool storage.

Project types for backyard, home and workshop

Projects are grouped by where they will go. Backyard builds include outdoor tables, benches, garden chairs, planters, raised garden beds, and playhouses or other kids' outdoor projects. Indoors the list covers dining tables, coffee tables, stools, shelves, cabinets and storage units.

Workshop pieces are workbenches, tool storage and other workshop furniture.

What each project guide includes

The listed guidance for each project covers materials and lumber, cut dimensions, required tools, assembly steps, joinery methods, and sanding and finishing. Practical woodworking tips are included too.

Taken together, the list runs from buying material through to finishing the piece.

Using the guides for a first build

The listing presents the guidance as step by step. It says the guides suit a first planter as well as a larger piece of furniture.
