This page needs its stylesheet to be shown
The app listing, the version table and the download step are laid out by this site’s stylesheet. With stylesheets switched off, or blocked before they arrive, none of that layout exists, so the page is not shown.

A smart keyboard that supports emojis and cute kitties

Yandex Keyboard is a replacement keyboard for Android phones. Its main job is text entry, with extras aimed at chatting: a translator, GIF and sticker panels, and emoticons. The listing presents it mainly for people who message friends or colleagues every day, and for anyone who writes with someone who speaks a different language.
The keyboard uses machine learning models that the listing says Yandex developed. Those models drive the suggestions you see while typing.
The build we hold is Yandex Keyboard 129.8 (APKS split bundle) for Android 8.0 and up.

The translator works inside the keyboard, so you can type a phrase and have it translated without leaving the chat. The listing says it covers 70 languages and can translate between many language pairs, including English, French, German, Spanish, Turkish, Hindi and Russian.
The listing describes this mainly for conversations with people who do not share your native language. It does not describe a separate translator app or a conversation mode.
Swipe typing lets you trace a word across the letters instead of tapping each key. Auto-correct fixes words as you type them. The listing also says the keyboard can suggest words you have not typed yet, which is the next-word prediction feature.
You can add your own words so the keyboard learns the way you write. The listing says it learns from what you type, and you can turn that learning off in settings. It states that passwords, contacts and card details are not collected.
The keyboard includes animated GIFs with a built-in search, so you can find one without switching apps. Stickers are available in the same way. While you type, it suggests emojis that match the word you are writing.
Kaomoji, the emoticons made from Japanese characters, are built in. The listing gives examples such as a table-flipping face and a small bear.
You can choose a bright, colorful theme or a darker one. A number row can be added to the main layout, so digits and extra characters are on screen without switching modes. A built-in Yandex search is available from the keyboard for quick lookups. The listing also says voice commands support emoticons, GIFs and stickers.
