A color sorting puzzle with pixel art
Yarn Sort: Color Match is a puzzle game built around sorting. Each level gives you yarn balls mixed together on a shelf, and you group them so each color ends up in its own place. Google Play lists it under Puzzle and rates it All ages.
The developer presents it as a sorting game first, with a picture hidden underneath each level. It suits people who like tidy-up puzzles that start easy and get harder over time.
Sorting yarn and clearing a shelf
The core task is to sort yarn balls by color and organize the shelf they sit on. The listing describes the sorting as the main activity, and each cleared shelf as the end of a level.
The listing gives few mechanical details beyond that, so the exact controls and rules are not described here.
Pixel art that unlocks as levels are cleared
Each level hides a pixel art image. The developer names cute characters and cozy scenes among the subjects, and says that completing the sort reveals the full picture before the next level opens.
Because the picture only shows once the sort is done, the artwork works as the goal of each level, with the sort as the way to reach it.
Difficulty from beginner levels to planning puzzles
Early levels are described as simple, and later puzzles are said to test strategy and planning. The developer frames the game as easy to start and harder to master.
The listing does not describe how many levels there are or how the difficulty steps up between them.
Wand, Duster and Spool power-ups for hard levels
The game includes three power-ups. The Wand sorts a difficult yarn ball into place in one step. The Duster clears clutter from the shelf. The Spool adds extra space so you have room to plan moves.
The listing presents these as help for harder levels, and does not say how often each one can be used.
