Play ProtectKids Learning App: Phonics, Reading And Math Games For Toddlers And Ages 2-8
By Irfan Rosli
News editor
ABCmouse is an early learning app for children from toddlers through about second grade. Its content is split across reading, math, science, social studies, art and music, so a single child can move between subjects in one session.
The listing says the curriculum is aligned with preschool through 2nd grade standards and was built by early learning experts. Parents use it at home, for homeschool work, or for extra practice after school.
The reading side covers letter recognition, phonics, vocabulary and sight words, along with reading games for kindergarten and younger children. Alphabet and phonics games are among the activities the listing names.
Math activities include counting, addition, subtraction, shapes, patterns and measurement. These are presented as games, so a child can practice the same skill several ways before moving on.
Science activities cover animals, nature, weather, health and space. Social studies activities cover geography, cultures, history and communities.
Art activities include drawing, painting, coloring and crafts. The music side has songs, rhythm and rhyme games meant to reinforce early learning concepts. The developer also runs a YouTube channel with educational videos that it says it publishes every month. That channel sits outside the app.
The listing says the app starts free and adds new learning activities every day. Premium is an upgrade that unlocks thousands of additional games, personalized learning paths and reward features.
Premium includes immersive play worlds named Hamster, Pet Town, Safari, Aquarium and Bot Beats. Kids earn tickets and rewards for their work, which can be spent in those worlds.
Once the app is installed, the listing says it works offline, so children can keep learning on a plane or in a car without a connection.
Parents can use progress tracking to follow learning milestones and achievements. The listing also states that the app has no third-party ads or pop-ups and carries a kidSAFE+ and COPPA certification.
The build we hold is ABCmouse: Kids Learning Games 1.69.0 (APKS split bundle) for Android 7.1 and up.
