What App Lock - AppLock VIP is for
App Lock - AppLock VIP is an Android app locker from Zenzy Labs. It puts a lock in front of apps you pick, so opening them requires a fingerprint, PIN, pattern or password. The listing names WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, the photo gallery and banking apps as examples.
It suits people who share a phone or hand it over regularly and want messages, photos or banking apps kept behind a separate check. The listing rates the app for all ages.
Choosing which apps to lock
The app works as an app locker: you select the apps that hold private data and the lock applies to those. The listing gives messaging apps like WhatsApp and Snapchat, social apps like Facebook, and banking apps as the main targets.
Photos and the gallery can be locked the same way, which covers the image files stored on the phone.
Unlock methods: fingerprint, PIN, pattern and password
Fingerprint App Lock lets you open a locked app with your fingerprint instead of typing a code. The listing describes this as instant unlocking.
If you prefer a code, Pattern Lock and PIN Lock let you set your own. The Lock Apps with Password option adds a password on top of the other methods, which the listing presents as an extra layer of protection.
Customizing the lock screen
The app includes lock screen customization, which the listing describes as a stylish custom lock screen. It is a visual option that sits alongside the locking of individual apps.
The listing does not describe how the custom lock screen is set up beyond this.
